My wife and I are interested in attending the June 2018 V8 Grand National Meet in Dearborn. We plan to haul our '34 roadster in an enclosed trailer behind our motorhome. Is there anyone who could recommend an RV park or any other convenient place where we could stay. The motorhome is self-contained and we can stay without hookups for up to 7 days if we have to but would much prefer hookups.

According to goodsam.com, three well-rated RV facilities within a reasonable distance are: Wayne County Fairgrounds, Detroit/Greenfield, and Camp Lord Willing.

On-street RV parking in Dearborn is prohibited and enforced and it is not allowed at the meet headquarters hotel (unless you are a paying guest and then only 'maybe') nor in the trailer parking area across the road from the meet hotel. Sorry.

I believe I saw a thread on the EV8 site. They made some recommendations. Maybe you could get together and get adjacent spots.

Thanks David and Frank. I found the older thread on the EV8 website and think that I'll go the Wayne County Fairgrounds route and use hwy 12 to get to the meet.

Good plan as MI 12 ends up as the main drag in Dearborn as Michigan Avenue.
