Default '33 pickup front fender question (new project)

Aquired a '33 project (basket case) pickup today. Pretty straight old girl. Not alot of rust repair needed. Bottom back of cab is about the worst. Frame is good. Still has metal floor in the body. Would say it had or was going to have a different trans at some point but has a new cross member now. Currently has a 59AB, 3 speed trans and banjo rear in it. Still has mechanical brakes. The truck could go back original but since we were on the hunt for a Hotrod project for a "Hot" flathead built by uncle Walt Dupont, that's probably the way it will go.
Anyway, the left front fender on it is currently fiberglass. I was wondering what model years car or truck fenders would fit? My experience with this year truck is exactly zero.
Thanks for any help.
Sorry no pics. Cant upload them from my damn phone for some reason.

Chris

The 1932 front fenders just look the same at first glance. If you look closer the '33-'34 fenders have a raised area about 4 inches long, 3/4 inch wide and 1/4 high over the front crossmember to clear rivet heads. Not as easy to spot is a slightly different curvature in the front and slightly different location for the headlight bar. Don't even think of trying to use '32 fenders.

Chris: Newc is correct that '33-34 pickup and BB truck front fenders will fit but passenger side of BB might have bigger well for truck tires as Newc mentions. Used a BB truck drivers side front fender on my '34. Henry

32 Fenders are flat along the hood line because the passenger car frame has no arch from the firewall to the front cross member. 33 and 34 pickup fenders are built to follow the large arch in the frame of the 33 and 34 passenger car frame so there is a large arch in the pickup fender at the hood line. Not interchangeable 32 vs 33,34.

Do a google search for 33 ford front pickup fenders, they seem to be available and pretty reasonably priced. Couple guys on the HAMB had some for sale recently too. 33 pickup will be cool ride!

Both my front fenders were from a Big Truck. They came from Bakersfield CA to Pontiac MI via Greyhound. They made nine stops along the way, and were covered only in bubble wrap. No wheel well in either one.
Cheers, Byron W.

i have a 33 bb dump truck, going to do a pickup build with it, so my big ton front fenders are the same as a half ton fender?

What a good find. It will make a nice looking practical ride when finished. Good luck with your project.

Sounds like it from above. If it has a spare tire well, it might be bigger to accommodate the bigger truck tire.

Here are some pictures of the 33/34 Ford Pickup Front Fenders showing the raised section, as pointed out by Charlie Stephens and others. The 32 Fenders don't have this raised part. I hope that these pictures make these Fenders easier to identify.

Thank you. The one steel fender on it was obviously not a 33/34. Someone fabricated the "raised portion"

The raised portion is to clear round headed rivets that hold the 33-34 pickup front cross member in.
32 pass frames (same as pickup) have flat rivets there, hence no bump.

I have seen a number of '32 fenders which had a small section cut out in the location of the '33-'34 "bump". Obviously they had been used on a '33-'34 pick-up at some point.
