For sale: 1928 Fordor Leatherback

Serial number 531801 with 57,475 miles with a production date of
10-12-28. It is in very good original condition. I’m the third owner and the car came originally from Hillsboro, NH, only 12 miles from here.
The car was painted 25 years ago in Brewster green paint and is showing its age. It has the original headlight fluted lenses and radiator cap. The bumpers and headlight cans are painted ‘chrome’.
The interior is original throughout with seat covers from 1953
and new front seat springs as well as the original rear shade.
It has the correct red steering wheel and emergency brake in the center with the pistol grip. In the engine compartment is the original motor with new rings, bearings adjusted, Snyder’s high compression head and the converted single plate clutch. There is a powerhouse generator with built in voltage regulator and a leakless water pump. There are new woven brake linings with Ted’s type floaters, original shocks rebuilt by Bert’s in Denver, a shortened pitman arm, four balanced Lester blackwall tires. The radiator has a new core with thermostat and there’s a stainless steel Aries muffler with heat shield. In addition, there are turn signals and a LogoLites third brake light as well as two rear view mirrors. Included is a car cover and spare tire cover.
Recent chassis and engine service was done in late 2016.
The price is $11,500 and I am open to serious offers and will help load the car for transportation.
