Default Temp. Sending unit 6V-V8 NAPA part number

Anyone have handy a NAPA part number for a Temperature sending unit
Flathead V8
6volt system (I have to assume it would be different for a 12 volt system but that is an assumption.)

I don't think they carry them any more. Mac's, VanPelt Sales, and others carry them.

Bob, Temp sender, double connection, 6V is Ford part 8A-10990 for '41 to '53 V8's and don't see listed by NAPA. C&G Ford Parts in Ca. have them about $55.

The double connection unit is not really a temp sender, it is an on/off switch that just shows an overheat condition, say 210 deg or something like that. The temp sender that provides variable temp readings is the single connector one. This is how the originals work anyway, not sure about the replacements, but would think the connectors would be similar.
