Default Help! 1932 rear crossmember frame measurement

Hi,
I need some help from anyone who has an original 1932 frame, with good original rear crossmember holes.
I need some measurements to place my rear crossmember in my aftermarket frame. My problem is my crossmember does not have the bracket off the back, which locates the rear most rivet, and my frame does not have the other 3 rivet holes drilled. I have looked at many blue prints and have not found the measurements anywhere. Any help would be great. Please give me a call 707 535-6392 for more clearification or questions if needed.
Any and all help is wellcome.

Please note that the placement of the upper rivet holes is influenced by which type of rear cross member you are using, early or late (shorter side to side due to the addition on reinforcing plates on the inside of the frame rails on late frames).

Westcott's frame pic "may" help you.

And I would assume you would need an early crossmember in a bare aftermarket frame, or perhaps better some fabricated reinforcement in there starting from a piece the thickness of a Ford replacement...

The dimension from the center of the front spring center bolt hole to the forward face of the K member is 45" and then 68 3/16" to the rear spring center bolt hole so you might locate your rear crossmember 113 3/16" away from the front spring C/L. Regarding the width of the rear 'member I don't know how wide the early one is compared to the late one but the frames were made from 11 ga. steel. If the reinforcement plates were 11 ga. (.119") then the late rear crossmember will be just under 1/4" narrower. Installing the early 'member and 11 ga. reinforcement plates will make your frame 1/4" wider then a stock one, but I think you could still drill the mounting holes for a stock type '32 gas tank and make shims for the rear spreader bar.

I think that the fit of the body sills over a +1/4" wide frame would be the first concern.

First and foremost I would like to thank you guys for replying.
Fordors- thanks for some measurements to start going off of.
I have my set width measurements, I'm not worried about the width.
I need to place it front to back.

Anybody have the C/L of the larger, most rear, #4 top frame rail hole, for the rear crossmember - to - the C/L of rear crossmember spring bolt hole?
OR
From rearend of frame rails -to- C/L of the rear crossmember spring bolt hole.

Thanks everyone for your help

I'm not sure what dimension you could be missing. What am I not understanding?

I'm not sure what C/L you are looking for in regard to the #4 top frame rail hole, but I can tell you that the dimension is 20 1/2" from rear of frame rail to rear spring bolt C/L.
