Default 1935 Ford Deluxe dash paint

Has anyone tried the TCP Global 1935 Ford Metalic Taupe dash paint? I believe their code for it is IM-044

I have it on the dash of my 35 conv sedan that was next to you at Charlotte. I like the color and it went on well. Like any metallic, you have to keep it stirred to get a consistent color.

Sorry. got you mixed up with JM. Old age I guess. Anyway, I also found it worked best if the parts are flat when you shoot them.

It seems that early '35s had a slightly different color than later '35s. Note the interior color on an early '35 brochure. This is what I matched my '35 dash color (second picture). I do have the paint recipe (Nanson) if interested.

Ordered some TCP Globe paint for the dash and mouldings of a 4 door I am working on. (was painted blue and had a incorrect steering wheel). I pulled the dash and mouldings, painted them and the new steering wheel with the TCP Global paint. Turned out closer than I thought it would to a original sample.
