Default Installing metal stem hardware

Just purchased some 19" tubes with metal stems already installed in them from Brattons for my newly painted wheels. I see a lot of stuff regarding installing metal stems in tubes. What I need to know is how the hardware builds on the pre installed stem. Do you still use the bridge washer? Where does the stem lock nut go and the short dust cover also. I have been looking for an exploded picture and can't find one. Any install tips? All help appreciated.

Yes, install the bridge washer, then stick it throught the rim and lock it in place with the nut.
Don't forget the rubber rim liner.

Yes, the nut (small) goes on the inner surface of the rim, to pull the stem firmly inward against the rim. The dust cover then screws down on the stem, on top of that nut.

P.S.: If yours was a dumb question, then this Engineering Ph.D. is as dumb as you are - I had to ask a fellow Barn-er the same question 2 weeks ago (offline).

Newshirt posted this a short while back. Skip down to step 16 where the stem is already installed;

Here's a nice tutorial that illustrates the washer, among other things.

The parts from the inside out:

Valve Stem

Bridge Washer
Washer Nut
Rubber Rim Liner
Wheel (Rim)
Stem Nut
Dust Cover

The photo is a modified rubber valve tube with a new metal valve installed, ready to go into the tire.
