I like to see things as is and the latest talk about WW vs BB tires got me a searching for Sarah's paint scheme in Blackwalls.

Blackwalled Sarah:

Whitewalled Sarah:

First thing that comes to mind is, who exactly do I want to pick up, this gal:

or an old gal of the Blue Rinse Bde here at the Home?

I'll stick with the Whitewalls.................

Although I do like straw wheels more than Apple Green, don't care for black wheels at all.

Notice something different other than the tires, quail, side mounted spares and door mirrors? It doesn't have the Apple Green pinstripe. What about pin stripping? Was it standard on Coupe Deluxe and not on a standard Coupe or was this an after market item?

All a personal choice... your car is awsome as is... For me the Model A was the every day car for the masses and at that time white walls were not the norm...

There is no right or wrong answer. It is a total personal choice. Nobody should tell you what to put on your car. Some insist on blacks and then put them on 16 inch wheels or add an alternator or powder coat. They were also not on the original A. Do what makes you happy ! Wayne

Black walls are definitely faster, less drag.

Plus easier to keep clean.

Interesting how the whitewalls highlight the bright colour of the wheels drawing your attention to them. They now seem larger than previously.

With black wheels, there would be a simple contrast between black and white.

Might need a fashion consultant ...
