Default Need some rivets

Anyone know where I can get some hollow rivets to fix my distributor plate?

Unless it is a plate with a perfectly round center I think you would be best just replacing it.

I know if you lived near me I would just hand you one from the pile. It is likely there is someone near you that would do the same.

Why not use pop rivets with a wash behind the plate.

I don't think they make that plate he's trying to fix.
They only make the stamped one.

Mrtexas,
Try Jay-Cee Sales and Rivet, www.rivetsinstock.com. They may have what you are looking for.

The local ACE hardware here has a nice selection of tubular rivits ---try the local hardware stores, it's always good to look through their nut/bolt/small hardware section

Before you go to the trouble of fixing it, check the fit of the center hole to the casting. If it's worn that just about as bad as worn bushings. Both in combination or alone will cause the plate to wonder and point gap will change.

if that center hole is worn slightly you can tap around it to tighten it up.

Like Kurt, I've found some at the local hardware store.

If they don't have them I'd try Big Flats Rivet Co.
