Default Bobs Classic Auto Glass

What’s up with Bobs , I’ve sent 3 emails and 4 messages through EBay in an attempt to buy glass from them and all I’m getting is crickets. Guess I could call them but at this point I’m wondering if I should look elsewhere.

I don't know anything about Bob's but if you're looking elsewhere here is a suggestion:

https://streetrodglass.com/contact-us/
18935 Van Buren Boulevard STE A4, Riverside, CA 92508

(951) 789-8870

I used them for the windshield and both cab windows for my '39 p/u. Very happy.

I think you've answered your own question.

Guess I have, I will be buying elsewhere. If Bobs won’t answer emails or eBay Messages to take my money what the chances of getting a response if the glass arrives damaged or has other issues.

I purchased a new set of front windshield glass from Auto City Classic Glass here in Mn 2 years ago for my truck and they had made in China stickers on the glass. I had to change them out the next year because the lightly tinted center laminate caused a terrible glare when the sun hit it at a low angle. When I contacted them about it they told me their tinted glass wouldn't do that and that it wasn't their glass. What?? I then used Auto Glassics in OR and Dustin couldn't have been nicer to deal with. www.autoglassics.com

I was going to go with Bob because his shipping was $30 vs $60 with Classic. Both vendors glass prices was near the same. You can also buy from Classic Auto Glass at a better price through their Ebay store than through their actual store.

I'll second the recommendation for Auto Glassics... he did the glass for my too-many door; it fit great with Drake rubber and I had it in a week.

Another vote for Street Rod Glass. Used them many times with no problems. I have them temper the side and rear glass on all my cars.

I can vouch for Sanders Auto Glass in Vancouver Washington. In the past couple of months I have used them for 2 Ford pickup door windows. They provided good quality and service. They have many patterns if you need them to cut from one. They also have options as to thickness and type of glass.

I sent Auto Glassics a email and Dustin responded very quickly. I had a couple other questions after the first email and he again responded right away. Needless to say he got my business.

I've bought from Bob's more than once and have always been treated better than great! I 1st saw the listings on ebay but looked at his website and called direct. Will buy again and again.
