Hey AnthonyG, you can buy 25' rolls of NiCop tubing at places like Jegs.

Will original Bearings & Nut fit?

Yes, they will interchange

There is a difference in bearing and seal sizes on the rear hubs.

Or put the nut on backwards! But who would do that?

I’m using the ‘37-‘41backing plates & rear hubs to use with Lockheed rear brakes. Should I order the seals, bearings, key & snap rings for the ‘37-‘41 & will it fit the ‘35 banjo rear axles?

Unhappy Re: Finally starting my ‘35’s juice brake conversion

Once again I think I’m making it more complicated than it is. In reading threads & asking questions I think I’m mixing up what I need for stock Lockheed rear brakes & the The Bendix type conversion. In another thread it was said I could use my ‘35 drums if not cut over 12.085”. As the ‘35 drum / hub is a pressed swedged assy are they compatible with the later years Lockheed backing plates? I was thinking probably wrongly not & that the ‘37-41 rear hub needed to be used

Use your 35 hubs and drums as long as there not worn beyond limits.
