Default horn.

Hi guys, What is the trick to remove the horn ring. so far the bat. is disconnected and I have pushed down on the horn ring turned it to the left and it does'nt move. the car is a 1949 meteor and I want to be careful with the horn ring. Thanks for any info Jack.

I had trouble with my '41 horn ring. could not push it inward to start turning to unlock. finally I just muscled it off and found the outer ring was bent inward and hitting the steering wheel so it could not be pushed in.. got one that wasn't bent and it turned right on

Thanks for the reply I just spent 30 min. on the horn ring no luck. I'm going to add a horn button on the steering column ? thanks again Jack,
