Default What bellhousing is this?

I picked up this 8BA, its a car motor judging by the oil pan, just wondering about the bellhousing.

I believe it's a 49-50 car bell, maybe even 52-53. Walt

Looks like a 53 ford pickup, it has the mounting pad area , it should have a horseshoe mount in front if it is from a truck.

Never mind , i did't look close enough, I believe walt is correct, sorry about the mis- info. I'll pay closer attention next time!!

That's the kind of bell housing we used to make the adapter for the Toyota 5 speed.

'49 '51 is pressed steel, this one is cast so that would be '52 '53 car. ..B.
