Default Flathead bearings - red/blue sizes?

Hi All,
I'm going through a few boxes of flathead bearings and found several with odd dimensions.

For example, I've got a set labeled "ICM-6333-A Red .0852-.0855 and Blue .0855-.0858"

Can anyone explain the color/sizing? I've never run across these before and am not finding anything in my books.

Std bearing thickness is .0852, so these could be used on a slightly undersized journal

Ahh, thanks! I wasn't considering the shell thickness. Were odd journal sizes really that common? I've come across piles of bearings over the years but never the reds and blues.

Block main Bearing Bore 2.675"/2.671" (Std) Overall Length
