Default 1930 Pickup Stabilizer

I guess you call them stabilizers. The tube that goes from behind the transmission to the axle housing where the backing plates bolt on. The one on the drivers side is split on the bottom about 2 feet long. Also it looks as though the tube has is bowed up just a little. Will this cause any problems. I looked in the Catalogs and that piece is not available.

I'll bet someone put a floor jack under there to lift the car.

Yes, it will matter and your want them to be straight.

You might be able to pull your's straight. If not, then just call Bert's in Denver for a good original part. Bert's 1-800-321-1931

bobd,

I may have a set but since you are probably across the country and can find a set locally I don't want to spend my time checking. If you would add your general location I would be glad to check if you are close. There are slight differences depending upon when your vehicle was built, do you need the correct ones or just a functional set?
