That looks great and I like the color.

I don't understand "to be or not to be" though.
Are you thinking of changing something?

There is a question of weather my car is a true "Deluxe" roadster. According to some of the barn folk it is not. No Luggage rack, left fender mounted tire and chrome wiper motor.

I wouldn't fuss over whether or not it is a 'true' Dlx. Roadster. Actually, I like the looks of your car just the way it is.

Do nothing to it, it looks great!! About every 3rd or 4th '30-'31 Roadster you see, it seems to be a totally decked out Washington Blue job with dual side mounts, stone guard, white walls, headlite visors, trunk, etc. etc. etc. I like Wash. Blue, pretty color, BUT I'm more drawn to Roadsters like this one. It is an eye catcher for sure. Beautiful car.

Really?

Who cares about a damn luggage rack when you have a Chick Magnet like this?

The main way to tell a DLX from a STD is the windshield. The DLX has the shorter 13" while the STD is 15".
Mine has been 'deluxified' as most have, but, when I get around to redoing it, it'll go back as a STD.

Still don't know the color though. I'm not sure from the picture whether its a '31 color or not. Doesn't make much difference though, it looks good.

I don't think that a side mount spare is a sure sign of a deluxe model I think that could have been had either way the wiper motor probably quit working and got replaced.

The 1930 DeLuxe Roadster came with dual side mounts. The 1931 DeLuxe Roadster did not.

If you don't have a tape with you look at the side curtain snap holes in the stanchion. The standard has 4 while the deluxe has 3 the top one in the upper pivot.
