Re: 1932 Ford 4 cylinder engine tins question
I've always wondered about the etiquette of notifying eBay sellers of obvious errors in their listings. I have looked at listings for more than a few parts I have been interested in and found them listed incorrectly. I have always sent a message gently suggesting that there may be a problem with their listing and they should check it out. Sometimes it is to the advantage of the seller, like the guy who had a Mallory "flattop" for an early hemi listed for an "RB" (413-426-440) . (The latter are a dime a dozen, the former very hard to find.) In that case, the guy didn't care, didn't change the listing and I bought it for $125. I have had people thank me, some who ignored me, and (surprisingly) nobody ever complained.
I guess I'll just keep doing it. |

My experience doing it is similar; most sellers send a note of thanks.
