Larry, are you wanting to see the article so you have dimensions to fabricate a set of engine pans, -or is there more to having that article. I have many old original engine pans that could either be restored or be used to pattern from if that helps.

i enjoy making things for ,my self so i'd like to see the article. i need a set of pans for the speedster i'm building as well as a friend just bought a beautiful older restoration that is missing the pans, so i'll probably be making two sets. i might be into a set of older pans for a pattern if reasonable. ... i just realised we have communicated before , i'm over in h'ville n.c. so if we make a deal i wouldn't mind making a run up there(1 1/2 hr ride +-). let me know or give me a call.... 828-699-1425

Didn't someone just post the dimensions in your other thread last week?

Strange stuff going on - I also don't see the link to the plans that Bob gave in the other thread - the only place I see the link is if I search for that particular post in Bob's profile. If I quote Bob's #3 post the link to plans is there, yet if I preview that quote the link is not. Weird.

Larry,

It was not in MARC but in MAFCA (Restorer).

thanks guys... i'll ask around about the MAFCA, maybe someone has a copy. if not maybe i will run across a set some time. i've got them on my 31 pickup, but it is too cold outside and a lot of trouble to take them off. the drawings in the post would be hard to work with unless i could blow them up and print them out. i'm barely computer literate so that may not work.

that looks good, but i'm a computer dummy. if i try to print that it wants to print the whole column of posts, not just that one. i printed it out anyway, but it shrunk the drawing a bit. i'll break out some 20 gage ant give it a try. thanks

Larry, what kind of computer do you have. With my iMAC I can just drag the image to my desktop and print full size. It is a JPG file.

Or take a screen shot - on iMAC; hold command - shift - 4 - outline image

Or PM me your e-mail address and I will send you the file?

Larry, I would recommend that you mark the location for the cutout that is for the exhaust pipe to fit your car. I have installed two sets of pans and both purchased sets of pans that had cutouts that were not located properly. Ed
