Memorial day commemorates those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.Honor them, remember them, barbecue,go to the beach, throw a party.

Veterans Day is November 11th,the day we recognize all who served.

many people make the same mistake their intentions are good, However what bothers me more than anything is how it’s become another day for stores to boost sales using a day to reflect on those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice to make bigger profits. May those who’ve died in service to our country Rest In Peace.

Like dbaldwi3 said, your intentions are good, didn't mean to insult you. Those who died for our freedom deserve the utmost respect, and separation from the rest of the vets, who lived to enjoy the freedom they died for.So I say have a beer, bbq and beach, enjoy their day..that whole solemn thing is kind of overblown in my opinion,I imagine the fallen would bbq and beer right along with us if they could..
