Here is the finished spare tire on the car.
I had the wheel sandblasted then I primed it with dp primer and then painted it with a brush with Tacoma Cream acrylic enamel. After painting several times I had to sane to remove imperfections, then repainted again. What a mess my paint was too thin, so I added more hardener on the later paint coats. Now I know what you experts were saying when you recommended powder coat. Any way ..
I had a new tire installed LUCAS thin tire, so that it would fit into my spare tire holder...Thanks David for the advice.
