That's too bad. Don't know what he did, but ....

Things are starting to get rough right now. As I'm out and about (something I'm cutting back on) I notice folks are not smiling a lot. They are not at their best.

My own patience is getting thin, and I'm starting to hit people with my shopping cart.

Maybe we ought to be a little more careful with each other. Maybe "hoovie" got a little out of control. Maybe he got tossed for good reason and should have ... don't know.

Not questioning the guidance on Ford Barn. Just hope we're not starting to pick at each other. More so in the days ahead, most of us will rely on the internet and sites like Ford Barn for our contact with the outside world.

So, in the grocery store or on Ford Barn, ease up a little.

He was getting VERY political towards the end. I tried to warn him, but.... That stuff has NO PLACE here.

Is there a way to know the reasoning of why he's banned?
He sure contributed a lot of good info on here over the years.

Read Post #6 again. One of the best ways of getting banned is to repeatedly post political opinions, no matter what side you're on.

I surely had read post #6.
I wasn't sure that was the definite reason.
Thanks though.

He was an expert in enlarging photos that appeared on Ford Barn.

Hopefully, after he serves his time off, he'll be allowed back in on probation.

IIRC FrankWest here on the Barn was banned for a while but is now back in good standing. It would be nice if petehoovie could be reinstated but we don't know all the details/reasons for him being banned. Hopefully he didn't flame out and destroy any chance of a return.

Like I feel when I'm around the person that's about three bosses above me, it's a little squirmy.

I think I've been up on that 'almost banned' list a few times in the last nine years.

He may still be able to read everything posted, but not able to log in and post things.
Just like anyone else can without logging in.

I too hope to see him back on here again. Really liked his picture enlargements and his foresight & knowledge he shared on these old cars/trucks.

Actually, I always looked at the never-ending picture enlargements as an insult to the intelligence of the rest of us, like none of US were capable of, nor smart enough to know that clicking on a picture would enlarge it. About that foresight & knowledge...….well, anyway! DD
