Lights Out
When driving home the other evening I turned on the headlights and the ammeter started swinging wildly from charge to discharge. I noted that the high beams were on so changed to lows and all was normal. When I got home the high beams wouldn't work at all and the low beams were dim. The battery was also drained down significantly. Now I have no headlights at all, neither high or low work.
Not being an electrical genius I am wondering where to start. I know I need new wiring (all) but was hoping to put that off until winter as I was having so much fun driving around in the old 48. All suggestions are appreciated. |

Re: Lights Out
Short in highbeam circuit has affected circuitbreaker/fuse now probably.
Start at the dimmerswitch and check if that is working then start looking for the shortcircuit in the highbeam circuit. |
