KR Wilson Tools Library
I searched first and didn’t find anything. How about a thread listing or depictions of your favorite KR Wilson Tools? I don’t own any but have started a library of those that are Model A related.

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
Have a look at my picture album. More KRW tools there including a 1929 KRW cabinet. Not pictured there yet is another find from awhile back. I found a steel parts cabinet. Still trying to verify if it is KRW or not. Rod

Looks like it's going to be a piece of Wall Art as it doesn't seem likely that I could ever find all those other parts to go with it!!!! At least i know what it is and it does have the Magic Name on it . John Cochran |

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
Mitch//PA, Thanks for the clarification. I will remove it, for some reason when I saved it I put it in the wrong folder. Brad that is a great picture, thanks. I hope we get some more submissions.
Wow Rowdy! I just finished looking at your photo's. I would love to hear how you came across the cabinet and tools, a very nice collection. I have a fascination with vintage tools especially those that were for our beloved A's. What is the use of the tool pictured in photo # 13?

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
The tool on the bottom left corner appears to be a headlite bracket bender (alignment) tool for a Model T. I've used one a number of times.

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
Here's a few photos of some of the KRW I've collected over the years. Some of them are very handy... others are just wall hangers. I'll try and post a few of the more useful ones in the coming week or so. Let me know As an early V8 Restorer as well, I'm into the early Heyer Ford Test sets, Laboratory test set and stroboscope/Diagnostic units from 1937-1948. See photos. Picked the later units up at a junkyard in southern missouri stored in the back of a bus. They were like new-still had the warranty tags in the drawers

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
I bought the tool cabinet off of e-bay 4 years ago. It was located in KC and the guy would not ship it. I was working tons of OT at the time and could not go get it. I gave my Dad travel money and he and one of his friends went and got it. My daughter Misty stripped the paint and we color matched it as close as we could with what is availiable mixed at the local lumber yard. Misty repainted it. The cabinet is quite rare as I could only find 3 others. Likely there are more, but they seem to be few and far between. When I get on my regular computer later today I will try to ID the tool you are refering to. Hard to see which pic you are wanting info on while of the I-phone. Rod

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
Rowdy,
I click on the link and it comes up a 36 engine, no tool cabinet. I think I remember the image a few years back.. glad you got it. I would love one to just say I found one but don't really have the space.. and I kind of like the display on the board so I can find them easy. I just have to use the blow gun to dust. Let me know how to find your cabinet pics and stuff. Thx. Larry |

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
I am assuming you are referring to this tool. It is the micrometer for the KRW boring bar. Rod

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
Chris,
There are some items on there that are somewhat reasonable for what they are.. .and others are not. It's very hard to find almost any of them. Ebay has certainly helped over the recent years. I have been collecting since the early 80's.. a piece at a time. Kudos to Rowdy for finding probably the rarest of them... one of hte wooden cabinets. |

Re: KR Wilson Tools Library
Just incase you or any others have duplicates of a tool I will consider trading one of my carrier race pullers for a tool of simular value that is missing in my collection. I had this adverized in the swap section quite awhile back and did not have any takers at that time, but the offer is still open. Rod
