Default aluminum heads

how may years did they produce 21 stud head in aluminum with out lets in center
thanks ps could some one tell me the years

Well, thay only made that engine one and a half years 37 and early 38, late 39 came out with the 24 stud. I know 37 had both aluminum and cast iron heads, I don't know about the early 38 but I wouldn't doubt thay have both. Walt

I believe thay would because people have used the 32-36 water pumps in the heads on the 37 engine and block off the front water pump holes. BUT, if you use the 37 heads on an earlier 32-36 block, what are you going to use for water pumps? Walt

plan on the truck pumps with the mounts on them.
had them done at skips in fl.

Late but anyway.
The al heads were discontinued mid feb 1937, so they only lasted for the first months of production of the -37.
