Default Come to Papa...

Shaking out the new (to me) 52 F-1, and venturing out further with each drive. I’ve found lots of little things; wiring gremlins [emoji849], crazy 1-7/8” toe in [emoji15], plus lots and lots of loose nuts and bolts but I’m getting them all chased down. We’re gonna be GOOD friends.

Looks like a real nice truck, but the pictures are WAY TOO LARGE. They are hard to see. See if you can re-post them in a smaller size. You will get a lot more good responses.

Super nice truck! Have to admire the 3 on the tree.

Looks like a real nice restore. Chasing a few nuts is easy enough. Enjoy!

Fabulous truck! But I'm very curious about that 1 7/8" toe in. What was it like to drive? Need two hands to turn the wheel? Tire squeal?

The truck had new tires on the front. I put only about 50 miles on them and turned them into these. They squealed around turns, and felt like I was plowing corn rows (I guess I was). The truck had new tire rod ends put on but the previous owner must’ve just counted threads or something and assumed it was correct to put the new ones right back on without aligning it.

Looks like it’s getting to the good part, and coming back together. Was it a runner before? Looks [emoji106]

it is a Canadian engine with factory aluminum heads, got it running very good, sounds like it has other than stock cam. got a rump/rump to it. solid truck but very beat up fenders, just about ready to put some primer and block out. your truck is an inspiration!
