It’s a great car show with a surprising number of Model A’s and Model T’s as well as a good number of Fords from the 30’s and 40’s. There is a guy who brings his Model T with a Frontenac head. The Swap Meet is good too.

There is a tap room around the corner that serves local craft beers and ales. Nice place to relax there after the show, then head over to the original Hitching Post in Casmalia for a steak dinner.

Learned something new. The Far Western has been reborn in Orcutt, liked the old one in Guadalupe. Tritip and Pinquinto beans on the side. Never heard of the Hitching Post until today.

This year, 2022, the meet and swap are Saturday, September 10th. I have several sets of rebuilt Houdaille Shocks. I can bring purchased shocks with me. Probably safer than the post office. And more direct. Have arms and links. Look in the for sale section for pictures and price.

Just so there is less confusion, see entry #4. Yes, the meet and swap, this year is Saturday, September 10, 2022. Guess refreshing last years post was confusing to some. I will never do that again.
