Drag link ends

I just finished king pins, front spring and shackles, and tie rod and drag link kit with new springs and teflon cups. The kit instructions are pretty explicit in identifying the differences in the drag link ends and the distinctions between the parts to use, but their sketch shows a spindle arm end and a steering arm end--i thought a spindle arm and steering arm are the same thing, and distinct from the Pitman arm. These instructions appear to be just opposite from Pearson pg 126. Attached are pics of my install. I need a resounding 'OK' or 'backwards'.

The drag link looks correct for cars after October 1928. The tie rod end bolts
should face the rear.

It's a 1930. The tie rod is back in the same position as when I bought it. I know because the drag link and tie rod rubbed on each other, and I welded them up. You are saying I should flip the tie rod? Easy to do.

If you flip them the grease fitting is going to point towards the axle, making it difficult to lube. My grease fitting and bolt are on the same side, facing back. I think it says in the Service Bulletins there was a change.

Is the spindle mounted correctly. It appears that the mounting flange on the stud is tilted to the left (outside) at the top thus putting the drag link connection too close to the brake actuator arm. Don’t go by me as I am a novice, but just got done trying to mount steering arms in the correct plane and drove myself crazy.

the spindle and steering arm stud are mounted correctly, but you can't see that in the angle of the photo. I was also concerned about how close the drag link is to the actuator arm. It is actually a little less than 1/4". Since there should be very little vertical flex evident at this point, I don't think I should worry.
