That car looks to be complete and in real good shape. You're a lucky (or smart) man!

meric42, I hope it is as good as it looks. I am a fat-fender guy, but I really get a bump in my blood-pressure when I see this grill area! Well done you!

53 has so many nice trim pieces.

The jet references; on the hood, the side of the car trim and the taillights bezels. Then there is the propeller grill and the native american spear on the front fenders. Besides being a 50th ford anniversary car.

Everything looks about right, hubcaps maybe 54 vics. Please add some interior picts. Nice car!

I would like to have that 53 myself. I do like it very much. Now you can store it at my place if you want and no charge. I would even drive it for you to keep it running. Anyway I wish you the best with it. Do let us know all about it when you get it.

Great, did my first valve job and took my driver's test with a '53 tudor. I could see myself spending a lot of money to enjoy one like yours.

Will you have to switch the steering? Looks like a good one.

I found the 1953 V8 with overdrive to be an excellent and trouble free driver. I bought mine new in 1953 and when I traded it towards a 1959 it had just over 200,000 miles with zero major repairs. I put over 200,000 on the 1959 also, and it did have a few mechanical troubles particularly the equalock rear end.
