Default Part I.D. help, thermostat?

Curious as to what this may be. I'm not even sure that its Ford, but the V8 logo reminds me of the one used on the '38. The outer dial is graduated from 55 to 150. Turning the knob, rotates the inner "V8" dial, like a setting pointer.

Radio controls for Ford. I don't know the exact year around 1937.
