Default The case for Air Bags in my F150

So Jerry in N.H., 2 hours away, had three flatheads, and I have a 2008 F150 1/2 ton, 5.4 L ... now I kinda realize that three complete flatheads might be a smidge over 1000 lbs, so I added a little more air to my back tires... :-) The first flathead sagged the truck quite a bit, the second even more, the third a little more! then I added the flywheels, intakes etc and then my engine hoist... 1 Flatty, ok... 2 flatty, need bags... 3 flatties DUH.
Needless to say it was a "smooth" ride home, downhill was a cinch, uphill just a little more work...

I had a 94 Chev 3/4 ton Long box extenda cab. It did have air bags in the rear and a compressor under the hood. I was able to load 6 complete flatheads in the back. The front would be pointing to the sky. When I filled the airbags with 60 + pounds of air the rear would rise considerably and actually level off. Rode quite well. My new Ram will certainly be getting them.

I have used air shocks on at least 4 pickups.
Easy bolt on. Level easy. Good shock as well.

I added airbags to my 2004 AstroVan with great results!

I've pulled my 16' open car trailer well loaded all over the country
Pulling my roadster, several 73 Grand Am's and a 5500 lb. granite
surface plate to a customer in ElPaso, TX.

Couldn't have handled these loads without the airbags.
