Need tech articles for club newsletter
Hello All-
Our local Club has lost its technical director, but yet there remains a strong interest in having something with some technical substance to grace the Club's monthly newsletter. Is anyone willing or able to recommend a ready source for articles for this purpose? Although several of us have restored cars over the years, because of the time or continuing commitment required to furnish monthly articles, no one has stepped up. Can anyone offer any suggestions or possible sources for articles of a continuing nature? Many thanks in advance to everyone for your thoughts and willingness to help. Dick |

Re: Need tech articles for club newsletter
You could ask Tom Endy who has done it for his club. He might allow you to republish his very intelligent and methodical articles...

Re: Need tech articles for club newsletter
I thought I was loosing it when I did not see my post only to find out you did it twice!
So here is the answer from before; Search the web there are a bunch of club sites that have tech articles. ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, give the author and the club credit for the article.

Re: Need tech articles for club newsletter
My very grateful thanks to everyone that has so graciously offered to help us out on these. I will pass everyone's comments and permission acknowledgements on to our newsletter editor, along with a recommendation that credit be given to anyone whose article he might include from time to time. Thanks once again to all.

Re: Need tech articles for club newsletter
Hi Dick: I'm writing the tech articles for our club right now. Most of what I write is on the Body and Paint side of things. Another member writes the Mechanical articles. If you'd like I can send you copies of what I've written to date.
Drop me a line with your E-mail address and we'll get things going. [email protected] The Old Tinbasher |
