Yeah, I have kind of given up on that deal. I have the same "promise" that you posted, also dated 2/15.

OK, rub it in Carl. ;-))
I posted awhile ago, asking if anyone else had received any after the initial flurry of activity. Got zero responses.
I PM'd both Haag and Fingers asking if everything was OK.. Zero response.
I am wondering if there was a death in the family or maybe Haag got in over his head with the large response for his socket.
I am slowly staring to think we may have to look at other options for a GAV tool. Bummer I was really looking forward to having a tool that not only worked well, but also was from a member who stepped up to help. Time will tell.

i believe the suggestion that he got in over. His head is correct. I am told that Snapon makes a socket the exact size. It might be a good time to give up on this guy. Wayne

It is just a deep well socket to fit the GAV fitting on Holley and Zenith carburetors. It is a odd size socket to fit the GAV hex area.

Not all were 13/32. At some point I think July 29 I think they switched to a 7/16 GAV. Does anyone have info on when the switch was made?

The threads on this are long so keep in mind;

NOBODY is out any money except for the one that is making them.
He works for a company that makes this kind of stuff and needed to fit them in along with other work being done. That includes all the steps it takes to make them and the final fitting to make them work with reproduction GAV as well as original (yes they are not exactly the same.

Does he still have a job?
Is his health ok?
