It is no small task to get set up for manufacturing something like that. And, small runs almost always end up loosing money. I give him a lot of credit for even trying.

In the meantime, I have been making out just fine with this open end:

I made my own several years ago, just took a 3/8" deep socket and carefully filed it down to 13/32", works just fine and I use a lot to rebuild carburetors.

10 MM is too tight. I did file a 10MM Snap On 6 point box wrench to fit the GAV, but sometimes a 6 point deep well socket is nice to have.

i just had to deal with mine this weekend and the 10mm fit perfect, but then again the gav might be worn a bit from years of taking it apart before my time

I'm a sucker for tools, any excuse to buy a new one.

Just received the one KGBnut suggested. As a bonus the 5/16 end fits the Zenith drain plug.

I took a 10 MM 12 point box end off the wall brand wrench and filed or to fit the 11/32 GAV , only took 2 cans of beer to do it, worked for me.

Brian, maybe have a couple more beers and make it 13/32" so it fits the GAV...

Don't know what the problem with the sockets is, but it would be nice for one of them to chime in with an update.

I feel fortunate that I received mine a while ago, and they are definitely a quality product. Several carbs have been rebuilt using their socket.

His integrity is certainly being questioned. Just because some people got them does not excuse his poor track record. A craftsman he may well be. A business man he is not. Wayne
