Vin tag on a 1933 Victoria is 1532. Does anyone know when this was built? Tom

Where, on the vehicle, is that "Vin tag" located? DD

That's correct..."body number" was only used for bookkeeping during production process. TRUE "VIN" numbers didn't come about in the US until 1968. Your "Serial Number" that is used for vehicle identification and registration purposes is hand-STAMPED into the top surface of the driver-side frame rail in three locations. The main location is in the area of the steering box, and CAN be anywhere between the firewall and the front crossmember. It will likely begin with a STAR, and then fall between "18-203,127" and "18-457,477", with another STAR after the last digit. The numerical sequence is normally stamped again on the top surface of the left frame rail at about the driver seat location, and then a third time atop the frame rail kick-up at left rear frame rail. That entire serial number (with STARS) is also stamped into a pad at the top, front of the ORIGINAL transmission housing. DD

It was the 1532 Victoria body made in 1933 by the body manufacturer which was not Ford. They were numbered consecutively and the body was shipped to a Ford assembly plant for final assembly.

Please see the other thread for a perspective of where body #1532 fell in relation to the total '33 Victoria production in the U.S.
