Default 1940 Pickup Wiring

This is a wiring diagram I pieced together to represent wiring for a 1940 Ford Pickup, modified for 12 volts with turn signals and license plate light using an Autolamp 9000 signal unit.

Its pieced together from 40 standard and later Pickup diagrams I found around the net.

Have a look and let me know how close I got.

Revised it to clean up the poor image quality.

That's pretty handy. For anyone else, the pdf version shows better at bigger resolutions.

I noticed when I uploaded the jpg, it compressed it from 890kb to 84.5kb, but the pdf keeps the quality up.

To improve the quality from the first one I posted, I used an Artificial intelligence upsizer and sharpener to bring up the resolution, and then I replaced all the text with an Arial font, and cleaned up some of the lines.

I find there is very little technical info for 1940 Pickups online.

I made the wiring diagram because I couldn't find one for a 40 ford pickup.

Well you did a great job. to be honest, it would serve as a great basis for wiring any car or truck of the same era. One or two slight tweaks to suit subtle differences but it would cover the vast majority of most jobs.
