Covercraft is excellent. Until my garage was finished it withstood wind, rain, sleet, ice and snow on my Model A Cabriolet. They custom make the covers for your specific vehicle and its all-weather cover is a superior product.

I'll cast my vote for the "tarp the open ends" plan and forget the "all weather cover". I've bought and used covers for decades. The only cover worth the money is California Car Cover. Even then, you won't want to leave it on in any significant storm/wind event because you'll be very disappointed to see the damage to your paint after the cover quits blowing around and beating up your car.

If you don't want to spend the $ for Cal Car Cover, buy one of the $40 covers on Amazon and use it to keep the dust/dew/sun off in fair weather ---- just plan to take it off during the storm events. You can plan to get about a year out of one of those covers with that plan. Then you spend another $40 and buy another one.

I too vote for California Car Cover. Quality and good fit = more $$ than a WalMart cover. Good stuff always costs more.

Same here. Have had several CC covers for different cars and I was never disappointed in them.

A carport is all you need.
Rain will not hurt your Model A, assuming it has a watertight roof.

The problem I have experienced is that the cover over the pick-up bed portion tends to accumulate water and has to be drained. During one bad storm the weight of the water caused to cover to rip on the wood stakes on the side of the bed.
