Your opinions on 2019 Bullitt Mustang
Here in the UK I am contemplating the purchase of a new 2019 Highland Green Bullitt Mustang. Would be interested to hear opinions on the car.

If that is what you want, go for it. It's a brand new car - what is there to comment.

Re: Your opinions on 2019 Bullitt Mustang
In the old days I was partial to Car and Driver, but I really haven't read them in years. Most of us here are into older cars. The review below is good in general, the performance level is pretty high. How that works in the UK for cost, resale, enjoyment, I don't have a clue. But I suspect this special edition will hold its value better than the "standard" car.
https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews...y-maintenance/ If you can afford the fuel and avoid the speed cameras, should be a blast. |

Re: Your opinions on 2019 Bullitt Mustang
Tiger.1000: I have driven the Bullitt; I also own a '66 Mustang GT Convertible with a "tweaked" Hi-Po 289 ( for comparison). Bottom line, there is no comparison. The '19 has all the safety features in new cars; rides and handles like a race car with a license plate (which it is!) and is a blast to drive. I did not check the mileage as I don't care about such (and I know petrol is expensive there: I lived in Germany for fourteen years, drove high performance cars there, and STILL did not care!). The only drawback to the car is the population and roadway construction in Hertford may not be conducive to truely utilizing the massive power available - but it will certainly entertain YOU! Test drive the car - bet you will put one in your garage!

Marcus, what are you doing with my old truck? Mine's the one behind the
Chevy panel. |

Re: Your opinions on 2019 Bullitt Mustang
58Yeoman - Does look similar! However, Ol' Henry (with chrome jail bars and wide whites), was a victim of my downsizing efforts (from 18 toys to 5): went to a very nice fellow in Illinois, who was thrilled with him. I am between Flatmotors right now, but that will change eventually (always does!)......... Had the twin sister to your Avatar, 289/4speed, a really fun car. It went to California! Playing with the freshening of a 68 Mustang GT Convertible (cut my teeth on Mustangs) and then look for another toy.......
