At times, my Air Tags can be a nuance, I am forever getting messages on my iPhone that my "Truck was left behind" then proceeds to let me know at what address it was last "seen".

I can see it myself, sitting out on the street in front of my house.

You can mark this address as 'private' and then you will not get notified if you leave things behind at that address...

The little magmentic hockey puck was about $50, and the subscription is about $60 per 1/2 yr. I know longer need to worry about being carjacked driving my convertible. I don't want an insurance check - I WANT MY CAR!

Now that State Farm seems to have control over Hagerty I need peace of mind.
Can you tell me the name of your "hockey puck"?

A highway patrol friend of mine also says if you have an enclosed trailer put large numbers
or other identifying markings on top of the trailer. They can be spotted from the air that way and the thieves never look on top of the roof.

As a side note I had the license plate stolen from my boat trailer. DMV told me I needed to notify the highway patrol of the theft. When I went to the highway patrol I asked why I had to report it as I have had plates stolen before with no reporting required.
They said boat trailer plates are being stolen as the trailers sit there for months with nobody noticing. They end up on stolen enclosed trailers and they find them up in remote areas as meth labs.
noticing

Speaking of stolen cars, can I change the subject to Easy Passes? In Pa. if an Easy Pass is in a stolen car the turnpike commission can red flag that pass and track it's use. The cop involved with my wife's stolen car didn't know or believe that. But my own research with the commission said it is easy for them to do it. It only takes a form filled out by the cop to initiate. I HATE thieves.

Does anybody have any experience tracking a car in a shipping container with an AirTag?

I would think that the metal walls of the container might interfere or even block the tracker from sending a signal outside the container.

.....any thoughts?
