Check with Redd's Headers. They do this for A LIVING.

I don't have pictures, and don't have a smartphone, but I have a 41 rolling chassis handy. The stock routing is from left side under oil pan, joining right side, and down the passenger side of the car. There's also a heat shield on the right side near the front of the engine.

I think 1980 gold was needing info on a dual exhaust system.

Duals would probably have to follow the path of the OG exhaust, then run the driver's side pipe back across the car somewhere near the rear crossmember or under the center of the X-member if you want them to exit on both sides. There's not really any room for a pipe to run along the driver's side. FWIW, there's not much room to run two pipes through the hole where the stock exhaust runs through the X-member, either. The underside of these things are packed TIGHT.

thanks guys. I wouldn't even mind if it was a single exhaust running from a y pipe set up. The way I bought it ( about a month ago) the exhaust it routed out from the headers and cuts back in under the wishbones so they pound on the pipes when you hit a bump. Wasn't my idea. thanks for the advice though

Chevy engine?!! Ouch!!. I would give Redds a call. This is a somewhat common setup so they probably have a setup designed. Good Luck
