It is always so sad to see & hear of so many individuals losing their life savings, pride possessions, & suffering a total loss because of fires, tornadoes, earthquakes, & hurricanes, etc.

We can just hope they can have the courage to get it back together to find peace in their lives.

The worry I would have would be "Act of God" that lets insurance companies off the hook.

In this day and age it's not a total loss! Some ignorant rat rod-type would love to have it!

If it were possible, I would douse those remains with a rust preventative and leave it as permanent yard art.

Not sure I would want it as yard art to constantly remind me of the loss.

So what do you suggest after the insurance is paid out... scoop it up and send it off as landfill ?

Even a prized pet is sometimes taxidermied.

Look at Trigger .
