Default Cylinder sleeve

My pistons are .040 ,needs to be bored to .060. I need to sleeve one cylinder. What size sleeve do I buy 3/32 ,or 1/8 thick ? thanks, steve

I suggest the 3/32. This leaves you the option of going larger later if ever needed. I have had a machine shop experience a set-up error where the machinist mis-read the mic. and bored too large for the sleeve. Having the fall-back to the next size available took care of the issue.
