I will add that the differential between the top and bottom of the radiator is a good indicator of the radiators performance. Anything less than 25 degrees (Fahrenheit) is an indication of a radiator not doing it's job.

Hey Charlie, can you post or send me a few pictures of how you installed the shroud and secured it to the radiator? I also have a 41 with the original radiator.
