Front seat springs for 41 Tudor
I have to ask this, will the bottom seat spring from a 51 F1 fit into a 41 tudor. I am asking this because I don't have the bottom seat springs. The PO made the seat bottom out of 2x4 and memory foam. There is a guy local to me selling the seat springs and frame out of a 51 F1 for a decent price. I only need the seat spring, not to install the whole frame.

Hi Joe
Check with an old auto upholstery shop. They can identify the size you need and get them for you. Bruce

Re: Front seat springs for 41 Tudor
The 41 should be the same up to 1948. The F1 seats are totally different.

Re: Front seat springs for 41 Tudor
I figured they weren't the same. I guess it was worth a try. Thanks for the replies.

Joe
I used Phil's upholstery on Avalon in goose town. Don't know if Phil is still alive but the shop should still be there. Good luck Bruce

Re: Front seat springs for 41 Tudor
I happen to have a 41 Tudor seat that's got decent springs, but you're a long way from Texas.

Bummer, I would be afraid of the shipping cost.

Wilmington, In early years fisherman from San Pedro would have to stop their wagons in Wilmington, on their way to Los Angeles, so the geese could cross Alameda street . They called it goose town.

Re: Front seat springs for 41 Tudor
Interesting. I looked up Phil's Upholstery in Wilmington and got an address. It looks like he is out of business. For now I will just have to live with the homemade seat.

Re: Front seat springs for 41 Tudor
As stated before the 41 tudor seat is the same as the tudor seat through '48. Shouldn't be too hard to find.
