Default running board vulcanized rubber care

I was wondering what would be good to use on the running board rubber to keep it looking good and as a protective. I have Bob Drakes running boards that are a couple of years old and would like to keep them looking great like they are now. thanks.

Kiwi shoe polish in th flat can. Put it on heavy let it dry brush it off and final rub with lid t shirts. Have used on my original rubber in 36 for 49 years. Protects and has a great finish. Cheers

Paste wax is a good protectant. The Kiwi black is a form that matche's black rubber. Other black shoe polishes would work but Kiwi was all I could find when I was in the military.
