Brake Light Switch
Does anybody know if a 30-31 brake light switch can be made to work on a 29?

They mount and actuate differently. Thats not to say it can't be done, but why?

Re: Brake Light Switch
My 29 had a 30-31 style brake switch installed.
They went through the trouble of cutting holes in the frame crossmember to mount the switch and altering the pedal to cross shaft rod so it would work like a 30-31 style. I suppose they used what they had but I removed it and installed an original type repop switch.

Re: Brake Light Switch
If you switch to the 30-31 style switch buy the more expensive "quality" switch. The cheap ones are junk.

Re: Brake Light Switch
The 28/29 switch is generally more reliable than the later type.
