MARC will be at Hershey see below

MARC, will have spaces and a tent setup at Hershey. Our spaces this year are C4P 6, 7, 8, & 9, they are located in the North Chocolate Field just up the row from the restrooms and main AACA tent near the food court. Look for the big blue MARC balloon. Stop in, you may renew your 2012 membership. If you are not yet a member you may join. Meet other Model Aers, the office staff, some MARC Board members, speak Model “A”, and generally take a load off your tired feet.

All MARC publications and store items will be available, including the new (2011) revision to the Restoration Guidelines & Judging Standards and the complete RG & JS which are still priced at $25. Also we will have available the newest volume of Technically Speaking (volume #9) that was published this spring. If you are not familiar with the Technically Speaking series click here for a link to their explanation, they are perhaps the most comprehensive collection of Model A technical articles. Click here for a link to the complete index of components addressed by the Technically Speaking series.

Note: If you are not familiar with the Restoration Guidelines & Judging Standards, may I suggest watching the short video on this site titled "Judging Standards Video" or click here.

Click here for a map showing our location with respect to the North Chocolate Field.

Did anyone video the seminar? I would love to watch it. I was at Hershey but alas, there was just to much else to see!

I think MAFCA has a video on rebuilding shocks that the seminar was based on.

I went to the Thurday AM session and really learned a lot . He covered what to look for when when parts hunting , how to correctly take them apart, how they work and how to rebuild them- all in all a very worthwhile and well presented seminar and well illustrated too.

I thought the seminar on shocks was very good. I have the DVD on doing them and the MAFCA seminar cleared up any remaining questions.
I also enjoyed the Chili offered at the MARC tent, a definate win win all around. Thanks to both.
