All you have to be is a member in good standing of the Early Ford V-8 Club.
You don't need a vehicle to be a member, only an interest. The definition of a Club is an group of people with a common interest. No where does it say you have to own anything.

Stretch,
Our place would be about half way for you. Room to park here for the night.
About 6 miles south of I-90.

Chris

You do not need to bring a V8 car/truck to the meet. There will be plenty of folks there to let you ride in one of theirs.

In recent years, about 60% of EFV8 National Meet attendees register a vehicle. About 40% just come for the fun.

Guess that would mean I need to get busy and work on the truck a little. One thing I will not be doing, like a lot of others attending is polishing! Sorry just not going to happen to the ragged ol' truck.
Regards,
Chris
I love that truck just the way it is now. That was the first vehicle I spotted when I arrived at the Marriott Hotel in Franklin.

Frank has a good point. He's marginal good standing but a hell of a lot of fun.

Just got my email confirmation for attending the Grand National Meet. I plan to finish my '35 truck and show it for the first time. I've been to 9 meets without an EFV8, so as long as all goes according to plan, I'll be part of the show.
Also, my '35-'36 truck book will be done, printed and should be for sale at the GNM too.
I'm really looking forward to this event next year.

Now I need to find another judge to replace you on the Commercial team. But looking forward to the book!

"HOPEFULLY"..... you will have to place me on the 35-36, 33-34 OR 39-40 Mercury team as "The Plan" is to have my 32 there at least.......Maybe one more!!

Dave, I'm interested in buying an autographed copy of your book at Dearborn.

If you do not have a car and contemplating buying one or are restoring one, I highly recommend you attend a national meet and sign up for judging in the category you're interested in. I learned an awful lot being a judge but unfortunately it was after my car was finished. I wanted a driver but tried to get things as correct as possible. By judging you learn what judges look for and also network with knowledgeable people.

I had a great time on the judging team and learn things I never thought to ask. Also, the aluminum-bodied 9N tractor was amazing.

Once the book comes out, I'll be happy to sign anyone's copy.
