I have seen these. Total junk, just as it appears. Methinks there was a mistake in the listing price. It was probably meant to be $99.99,
Either that or the guy listing it has inhaled too many paint fumes.

Like Deuce lover said, it looks to me to be an old Industria Argentina tin stamping that someone had chromed. A bent up rusty one just like it came with my 40 wagon. Would be overpriced at $9.99.

Agree 1938 (or possibly 1939 Standard). Agree aftermarket... but likely pre-Argentina, these were made in USA as a cheep alternative to gennie Ford parts in the 1930's, 1940's, and 1950's.

^This^

I've run across non-Ford Blackstones also - they were US-made aftermarket replacements "back in the day."

This Grille is definitely not for a 1940 Ford Deluxe or Standard?

The Grille in question looks like it could be for a 1938 Ford Deluxe? Compare it with this picture of a 1938 Ford Deluxe Grille.

Look at the seller’s other listings and the mention on each and every one- “Or Best Offer”. With almost 11,000 feedbacks clearly the seller knows what he’s doing. Yes, he lists high but that is a marketing strategy, people look, see what they like and make their best offer. He does quite well for himself I’m sure.
