1939 deluxe safety hood latch
could someone tell me if the safety hood latch is off center of the grill towards the pass. side. i'm trying to put an air deflector on my 39 deluxe but the notch on the deflector for the safety latch is dead center. i tried to post a pic but couldn't upload it. thank you.

i just found a picture of another offset safety latch so i guess mine is right and the air deflector i have is not notched right. thanks anyway
