Default GAV housing threads

What is recommended to seal around the GAV housing threads to stop fuel leak?

I would use non-hardening Permatex gasket sealer. You have to be able to remove the GAV in the future. The gasoline is only about 3/8 in. above the top of the casting with the level set at 5/8 in. This is a very low pressure for the gas to leak by the threads. Ed

I've never had one leak there, but if I did, I'd do the same as Ed just said.
